Why Chiropractic?
Chiropractic care is the most frequently sought out alternative medicine. Studies have shown that chiropractic care is extremely effective in treating musculoskeletal complaints (back pain, neck pain, headaches, shoulder pain, etc), especially when combined with exercise. Over the last several years chiropractic has played an integral role in combatting the opioid crisis facing America. Chiropractors have been added to Veteran Affairs hospitals throughout the country in order to reduce drug use and promote natural solutions to pain management. Whether you are seeking care for an acute injury, poor posture or to ease aches and pains from an active lifestyle, chiropractic is for you.
Will I feel pain during or after the adjustment?
During a chiropractic adjustment, patients might experience varying sensations, from a brief moment of discomfort to feelings of relief and relaxation. It's not uncommon for some individuals to report mild soreness after an adjustment, akin to the sensations felt after a new exercise routine. However, this soreness is typically transient and fades within 24 to 48 hours, leaving many with a renewed sense of well-being.
What Techniques Do We Use?
At Redmond Wellness and Chiropractic we use a variety of techniques in order to tailor treatment to the needs of each patient. Some patients prefer hands on, traditional chiropractic manipulation while others prefer low-force instrument assisted adjustments that are much gentler. We customize all treatment plans according to each patient’s expectations and preferences.
